We are an organization dedicated to freedom and peace. Our mission is to stop the suffering of all sentient beings without exception. Beginning Sunday, March 30, 2008, a group of ten will begin a march from New York City to Washington D.C. We are protesting the Beijing Olympics and are peacefully walking for peace and freedom in Tibet and neighboring countries.

Walk Day 2, Mar 31, 2008 - New Jersey

For day 2 the walkers continued from Forest Ave/Hylan Blvd. We headed on towards the Outer Bridge, and into New Jersey. Alot of people beeped there car horns and put up peace signs in support. We eventually made our way down to Hylan Park, where we ended the walk for the day. We were looking for a place to sleep for the night but all of the churches we tried to stay at were already booked. Luckily we were given a place to sleep up in Paterson, NJ. We drove up the Garden State Parkway and were given a beautiful home to sleep in, along with a excellent meal and lots of tea. We would like to give a special thanks to Dorje Tstepal for his extreme generosity, we thank you for your support.

We would like to express our total support of your peaceful action to boycott the Olympics. Since we can't be there walking with you we'd like to send you some money. Let us know how. Greetings to our friend Mikkel.
