Walk Day 2, Mar 31, 2008 - New Jersey

For day 2 the walkers continued from Forest Ave/Hylan Blvd. We headed on towards the Outer Bridge, and into New Jersey. Alot of people beeped there car horns and put up peace signs in support. We eventually made our way down to Hylan Park, where we ended the walk for the day. We were looking for a place to sleep for the night but all of the churches we tried to stay at were already booked. Luckily we were given a place to sleep up in Paterson, NJ. We drove up the Garden State Parkway and were given a beautiful home to sleep in, along with a excellent meal and lots of tea.
